The trip begins in Flushing, Queens, home to one of the largest Chinese communities in the U.S. After settling in, students enjoy lunch at New World Mall and try the Chinese yo-yo while mingling with local youth, followed by a neighborhood tour and a spicy Sichuan hotpot dinner. On Day 2, we head into Manhattan to visit the 9/11 Memorial, then explore Chinese culture downtown with lunch in Chinatown, a stop at Columbus Park to watch locals play traditional games, and a visit to the Museum of Chinese in America. The evening ends with dinner at a vibrant food market.

Art, Food & Active Learning
Today's highlights is viewing global culture at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, focusing on its Chinese exhibits and Suzhou garden. Students enjoy Chinese meals before heading to Times Square for a dose of New York energy, then roll up their sleeves for a dumpling-making workshop. The next day, back in Flushing, we start with a Chinese breakfast before diving into a Kung Fu martial arts class. Lunch at New World Mall fuels the afternoon, which includes a Chinese painting class and a lively scavenger hunt. After a classic New York pizza dinner, students join in plaza dancing, a popular community activity.
