Students explore local markets in the evening, tasting regional snacks. The next day features the highlight of the trip— a Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, gliding past towering karst peaks and riverside villages. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, we settle into Yangshuo and explore West Street, a lively hub of shops, cafés, and street performances.

In the afternoon, they join a Chinese calligraphy or landscape painting workshop, using the surrounding scenery as inspiration and connecting art to cultural tradition. A short hike up Moon Hill rewards them with panoramic views, and those seeking adventure can try an optional bamboo rafting experience on the Yulong River. In the evening, the group attends the spectacular Impression Liu Sanjie light and music show, performed against the dramatic karst mountains—an unforgettable blend of natural landscape, storytelling, and performance art that students will remember long after the trip.
