Itinerary
| Day | Highlights |
|---|---|
| 1-2 Shanghai | Arrival in Shanghai The journey begins with an international flight to China’s biggest city, Shanghai. Upon arrival, students are welcomed by their NH guide, enjoy a group dinner, and settle into the hotel, starting to connect as a team while adjusting to their new surroundings. |
| 3-4 Wuhan | Yangtze Culture & Student Exchange A high-speed train whisks the group inland to Wuhan, where students join an opening ceremony and a special course at Hubei University before enjoying a nighttime Yangtze River cruise with spectacular light shows. The next day is devoted to connection and culture: students take part in a high school exchange, make dumplings with peers, explore the Hubei Provincial Museum, and practice calligraphy. Dinner is a lively exploration through Hubu Alley’s famous food street. |
| 5-6 Wuhan, Yichang | Innovation in Wuhan & the Engineering Feat of Yichang In Wuhan, students step into the future by visiting an autonomous vehicle manufacturer, riding an aerial rail transit system, and even building a model. Later, they transfer to Yichang. The following day highlights one of the world’s greatest engineering projects, the Three Gorges Dam, paired with a cultural visit to Qu Yuan’s Hometown, where students try their hand at making zongzi, a traditional sticky rice treat. |
| 7-8 Enshi | Enshi’s Natural & Cultural Wonders The group continues to Enshi, diving into local ethnic minority culture at Enshi Tusi City before exploring the massive Tenglong Cave, complete with laser shows and performances. The next day, students discover China’s deep tea traditions at Wujia Tai Tribute Tea Garden, test their courage on the floating bridge at Shiziguan, and end the night with a boat ride and breathtaking “iron flower” fireworks show. |
| 9-10 Shanghai | Farewell in Shanghai & Return Home Returning to Shanghai, students walk The Bund’s iconic waterfront, compete in a scavenger hunt along bustling Nanjing Road, and enjoy a nighttime Huangpu River cruise for the lighted up skyline. A farewell hotpot dinner celebrates the friendships and experiences of the trip before a final ride on the Maglev Train to the airport for the journey home. |
